SPRINGDALE CEMETERY
QUEEN CITY, CASS COUNTY, TEXAS
LOCATION: Go North on Hwy 59 frem Queen City 3 miles, turn right On FM 2327, go 2 miles until you come to the Springdale Baptist Church & Cemetery on the left side of the road. William Butler Lee and wife Frances Elizabeth Crow helped establlsh Springdale Methodist Church (now Baptist).
Monument erected in loving memory of the members of the Springdale Methodist Church and L. M. Rush & wife Emlie, who legally gave in 1903, 4 acres for burial plots, which has become known as the Springdale Cemetery. This monument was erected at the beginning before this became a Baptist Church. This Cemetery was read N to S starting in the old part behind the church. Map shows road does not go beside the old part. Markers are in the road and on the fence, but do not correspond with our readings. The map shows Section A, Row 1 and Section B, Row 1. The cemetery was read by Martha Young and Sondra Ayers, 24-FEB-1995.

This cemetery is known to be predominantly white.
